The mastaba tomb of Ti was discovered in
1865 by the French archaeologist Auguste Mariette (1821 – 1881). Other tombs found at Saqqara include those of high ranking royalty, viziers and nobles
include Nefer (5th Dynasty ), Princess Idut (5th Dynasty), Mehu (6th
Dynasty), Mereruka (6th Dynasty), Kagemni (6th Dynasty), Neferseshemptah
